While daily exercise, quality sleep, and good mood foods are essential to stress reducers, there are many other effective strategies for treating anxiety, including:

  1. Be Grateful- Every day, write down what you are grateful for. Focusing on the things you are thankful for can help you to keep calm.

2. Take a Break-Meditating, diaphragmatic breathing, and listening to music are all examples of relaxation techniques.

3. Face Your Fears- Do not hide, run away from, or ignore whatever is causing you anxiety unless it is life-threatening. You must confront the fear or concern immediately.

4. Accept that you cannot control everything and learn to let go. You can be giving yourself unnecessary stress if you're holding too tightly, which will only make your anxiety worse.

5. It's Important to Talk It Out- This is a must. When you're feeling down, let your friends and family know. If necessary, get professional assistance, but don't fight with your battles alone.
